UUC friends,
I have good news to share. UUC has just received the license of re-accreditation for the next five years (2024-2029) from the Distance Education Accreditation Commission (DEAC). This validates that UUC has met the multifaceted standards of DEAC, and that UUC degrees can be accepted at universities in the United States and other parts of the world.
This achievement is the result of the hard work of the Executive Board and all the staff, as well as the faculty and students. You are also part of this accomplishment. Without your valued support none of the educational mission of UUC would be possible.
DEAC’s recognition of the quality of our work is like an educational launching pad. It enables UUC to continue equipping and training many people with the knowledge, skills, and passion to serve in different roles in the churches and their surrounding communities throughout Vietnam and the world.
UUC continues to strengthen and perfect its educational programs. We are working to add the bachelor’s degree program (BA in Christian Studies), in addition to the MA, MDiv, and DMin programs which are already accredited. We are also taking steps to add a track for Counseling and Pastoral Care to equip active pastors, their wives, and other church leaders and staff. This is a crucial and urgent initiative to respond to the acute mental health challenges of our times.
Thank you for rejoicing with us. Thank you for praying with us. Thank you for financially supporting us. The leadership of UUC believes we are doing the work God has called us to do, and rejoices that you are partnering with us in training the whole person.
May God grant us the strength to keep planting seeds and laboring in the fields for the sake of the Kingdom in future generations.
